November 3, 2026, Mid-Term Election

We need to be ready to vote in this upcoming election so that our voices can be heard and competent, true patriots can be elected! Here’s your countdown of what you need to do to be ready to vote.

To Do in August - September

• Check your voter registration to make sure that you have not been purged! To do this, you should check with both Dallas County and the State of Texas because sometimes these databases do not match.

• Have you moved recently? Does the address on your ID match the address on your voter registration information? If you’ve moved or if your info does not match, it’s time to register to vote or adjust your registration.

• Do you plan to vote by mail? If so, you need to turn in your application to vote by mail to Dallas County’s Election Department. Remember that our State government has made it harder to vote by mail, especially as it relates to voter identification requirements for mail in voting. So, get your application in early before the deadline of September 19th for military personnel or citizens living or going to school overseas or a deadline by October 5th for everyone else.

• Do you have a college-aged child or are you in a college not here in Dallas? If so, you or your student needs to decide where you are going to vote. It is generally easier to register to vote wherever the school is located. Otherwise, you need to request to vote by mail.

• Help others to vote!

• Donate to candidates, especially those folks down ballot.

• Make sure that your friends are registered to vote.

• Put information about candidates or candidate forums on your social media accounts to help publicize great candidates.

• Tell folks how important it is to vote all the way to the end of the ballot.‍

• REMEMBER ‍: we need good Democrats here in Dallas County, too!

To Do in October

• Monday, October 5th is the deadline for submitting your voter registration application or making a change of address.

• Monday, October 19th is the first day of Early Voting. Everyone is strongly encouraged to vote early. Dallas County has not released the voting locations yet, but you can register with the County to receive the polling locations by clicking HERE

October 19 - October 23 Monday - Friday 7 AM - 7 PM

October 24 Saturday 7 AM - 7 PM

October 25 Sunday 12 PM - 6 PM

October 26 - October 30 Monday - Friday 7 AM - 7 PM

• Friday, October 23rd is the last day for Dallas County to receive your voting-by-mail application!

• Friday, October 30this the last day of Early Voting!

To Do in November

• Tuesday, November 3rd, is the regular Election Day. Hopefully, you voted early, but in case you did not, make sure you vote between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Go early!

• Tuesday, November 3rd, if you are going to hand deliver your mail-in ballot to Dallas County, you must turn it into them by 7 p.m.

• Wednesday, November 4th is the last day for Dallas County to receive your mailed in ballot delivered by the US Postal Service unless…

• Tuesday, November 10th, is the last day for Dallas County to receive your mailed in ballots for FPCA Military and Overseas Ballots.
